Software Engineer (Frontend/UI)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Development Engineering team and contribute to the design, development and maintenance of sophisticated, large-scale software solutions.

Duties and responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

Design, develop and maintain software solutions
Translate requirements into robust technical designs
Write clean, efficient and testable code
Contribute to architecture, planning and code reviews
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Support continuous improvement of our products and development practices

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Minimum:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or a related field
Minimum 3 years’ software development experience
Experience developing production-grade applications using object-oriented technologies
Experience with Linux and Git

Advantageous:

Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience with distributed systems, microservices or service-oriented architectures
Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

Proficiency in Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
A passion for building reliable, scalable software
